TIG Corporate Finance advised Galvmac Limited, a specialist highway maintenance contractor based in Newcastle, on securing a £300,000 growth investment from the North East Elevate Fund, managed by FW Capital. The funding was secured to support the company’s rapid expansion following a series of significant contract wins across the UK and to provide the working capital required to deliver its growing order book.
Established in 2023, Galvmac has built a strong reputation through its innovative road repair solution, Elastomac, a sustainable rubberised mastic asphalt product manufactured using recycled tyres. The business has experienced significant growth, securing contracts with local authorities and major infrastructure contractors nationwide.
The Challenge
Following a period of rapid commercial success, Galvmac required additional funding to support increasing demand and maintain momentum. The management team needed a funding solution that would strengthen working capital, support material purchases, facilitate contract delivery and provide a platform for continued expansion.
With multiple new contract awards and further opportunities emerging across the UK, it was essential that the funding package was structured efficiently and delivered within a demanding timescale.
How TIG Helped
TIG Corporate Finance worked closely with the directors of Galvmac to assess the funding requirement, identify the most suitable funding partner and manage the investment process from initial discussions through to completion.
Our support included:
- Reviewing the business plan and growth strategy
- Preparing financial forecasts and investment documentation
- Managing negotiations and due diligence
- Coordinating the transaction through to successful completion
By combining our understanding of the business with our extensive funding network, we were able to introduce and secure support from FW Capital through the North East Elevate Fund.
